We’ve all seen skateboarding wheels evolve from the days of clay to urethane (I know you’ve seen Dogtown). But these days—with such a variety of custom shapes designed for precision, control, locking in and whatever else—we’re seeing some genuine innovation that truly matters. And when someone like Ishod Wair stamps his name one something, you know it’s worth paying attention to.

This “medium-width asymmetrical” design features Spitfire’s already admirable straight edge ‘Lock-In’ cut on the inside, which I will personally admit helps with locking into grinds, if that’s what you’re looking for.
On the opposite end, the classic round outer sidewall provides a little more versatility for all types of terrains. It’s pretty much the best of all worlds. Almost makes you wonder why it’s taken this long to figure out!?
Regardless, Spitfire clearly has a long history of setting the gold standard in skateboard wheels—you can quote me on that! And with Ishod’s input on these gems, the Lock-In Classic is bound to be another game-changer.
