The Living Proof Radio podcast has been killing it lately, and to celebrate its 200th episode, they tapped in with the one and only Braydon Szafranski. From skating the gritty Vegas streets as a kid to becoming an OG Baker rider, Braydon has quite a story to tell. Settle in and press play. It’s a great episode.
Szafranski has always been known for his larger-than-life presence and wild, no-nonsense style, and he comes from a generation where skating hard and living harder basically went hand-in-hand.

In the episode, we learn that Braydon made his way out to LA in the early 2000s with nothing but his board and that classic dream of becoming a pro skater. I mean, he was literally sleeping on the streets of Venice when he first arrived. But things changed fairly quickly.
He caught Muska’s eye and rode for Shorty’s and Circa for a bit—anyone remember those days? But personally, my introduction to Braydon was in Emerica’s iconic video, This Is Skateboarding. And by the time he was rolling deep with the Baker squad, he was pretty much a household name.

From the many highs and lows he’s been through, to currently living in Vegas again, still ripping and living his best life, the fire inside Braydon is still burning as bright as ever. That said, I’m not gonna spoil the episode more than I already have. Press play and enjoy episode 200. Good stuff!
