Words by Julien Dellion
Milk Skateshop started in 2004 by Thibaud Fradin, an old pro skater for Cliché Skateboards. We started this video project two years ago with a tour in Marseille, France with almost the whole team. We were supposed to do the video in one year, but with everybody casual about it, it was impossible. More than half the team is not in Nantes. We did a last tour in Bordeaux to finish the project. However more than half of the video is filmed in Nantes, it was the idea at first to film a lot in our town to show everybody that we have a lot of good spots. It’s the first big video project we’ve done so it was a good experience and a lot of fun for the team. Thibaud put a lot of effort to have a part so it took him a long time to get really into it and to film again like it was 20 years ago. The video just got finished for the 20-year anniversary of the shop, so it was perfect timing in the end. Thanks to all the people that helped us in this project and to the team for the motivation!

“We called it Missing because there is always someone missing on a skate tour, and for shop and brands, there is always one rider that you don’t know where is—he lost his phone or whatever: Skate life.”—Julien Dellion
