Zero Skateboards just dropped its second collab collection with tattoo artist Han Shinko, and all I can say is this one’s another banger. Between the new boards and the apparel (the thermals are so sick), this drop is a solid reminder that Zero’s still out there evolving, and of course I’m backing it.

As you may or may not know by now, I’ve been a huge Zero supporter since I started skating in the late 90s, so I’ve got mad respect for all their timeless, OG graphics.
In fact, the Zero BOLD was my first “real” board. But it’s been rad to see them step outside their own box over the past few years—graphics-wise—without losing what made them who they are in the first place. That ain’t always easy!

From collabs with bands like Misfits and Dead Moon to linking up with artists like Han Shinko, Zero’s been finding creative ways to mix things up while still staying true to their roots—and this collection is a perfect example of that balance, if you ask me. Han has that classic Zero grit, that’s for sure!
Unfamiliar with Han and his artwork? Here’s a little blurb from the Tattoos Wizard website to provide a proper introduction:
“Han Shinko is an extremely skilled tattoo artist out of Los Angeles specializing in tribal, traditional, and dotwork tattoo styles. Establishing a significant online presence, Shinko has attracted nearly 200,000 followers on Instagram with his unique and meticulous designs. Shinko is not only known for his advanced talent but also communicates book requests professionally via email.”

The new boards are limited and available exclusively on Zero’s site. Skate one, hang one—whatever! As long as you’re supporting rad people doing rad things, that’s all that matters. Now get off the internet and go skate! I’ll see you out there.
