“Lee Ralph loved it as much as us and did it as well and anyone.”—Christian Hosoi.
The MuckMouth episodic documentary about the barefoot lumberjack from New Zealand rolls on, and we gotta admit, this series is a sleeper hit. We love these episodes. If you haven’t been keeping up, run it back to episode one. This week, we got episode seven and the influence Lee had on the likes of Chris Miller, Holmes, Ron Allen and many more is impressive to see and hear.
“Episode 7 of 8
New eps out weekly!
Unbelievably, this has taken over 15 years of literal blood, shit loads of sweat, and millions of tears – so thank you all for your extreme patience. With a budget of absolutely fuck all – we have finally finished this masterpiece after nearly 2 decades. Sorry how long it’s taken, Lee! Thank you to everyone that has helped, contributed, or even just watched – we love you all. Rest in Peace Phelps, Radar, Stobbart and Rini. Cheers, Alex Dyer – director, fuckwit, slacker. Lindsay Knight – my slave who did most of the hard work. Follow MuckMouth and Human Stories on here and Instagram – or don’t bother, up to you.”

In episode seven, Tony Hawk might have the best quotes, describing Lee as a caveman with a Full-Tec (helmet that covered the ears) and how that was the sign of someone gnarly and in their own world. Looking forward to the eighth and final ep!
