Black Label just dropped a rad new Elijah Akerley graphic—the “Caterpillar”—and it’s available on their raw 9.0” Spider Egg Shape. The boards are hitting skateshops as we speak and whether you’re a fan of Elijah’s skating, Black Label itself, or just like fun shapes, this is for you.
But don’t trip—if you prefer traditional popsicle shapes, it’s also available in a variety of Standard Cut options: 8.0”, 8.25”, 8.5”, 8.75”, and 9.0”. It’s Black Label we’re talking about here, so you know there’s lots of colors to choose from too. Choices, choices, choices. You’re covered no matter what! Take a look:

Like basically all Black Label graphics, Elijah’s “Caterpillar” was hand-drawn by John Lucero (in fact, you can see the original artwork if you swipe through the Insta post above), which makes it an instant classic, in my opinion.

Honestly, Black Label has been on fire with their graphics lately. For a brand that’s been around since 1988, it’s pretty impressive how they’ve always stayed trued to their roots, yet continue to evolve in the wild world of skateboarding. Honestly, things wouldn’t be the same without Black Label holding it down all these years.
All that to say this—Akerley fits Black Label’s spirit and vibe perfectly. He’s fast, aggressive, crust-chasing, and simply as real as it gets. He dropped some heavy video parts last year and we’re stoked to see what he has in store for us in 2025.
Hit your local shop and swoop one of Elijah’s new planks while they’re hot. Or, as always, just hit the Label site.
